Local Band Signs Record Deal

Junction City’s own Crimson Static has signed a distribution deal with Darkline Records, a regional label specializing in underground music. The band announced the news via social media, promising a “new era of sound and blood.”

Formed in 2018, Crimson Static gained a following for their atmospheric performances and all-night shows. The group recently began rehearsing at an undisclosed downtown location, reportedly once part of the city’s subway project.

The label’s representative, known only as “Mr. A.,” praised the group’s vision. “Their music channels the pulse of this city,” he said. “You can hear its heartbeat between the notes.”
