Dr. Leonard Robert McKeen, 68, of Junction City, passed away peacefully at his home on November 8th. Born May 12, 1957, he dedicated more than 35 years to medicine as a physician at Mercy General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Helen, and two daughters, Margaret and Julia. Dr. McKeen was known for his compassion and for volunteering at the city’s free clinic.

A private memorial service will be held at Greenvale Chapel. The family asks that donations be made to the Junction City Blood Bank in lieu of flowers.
