Riverfront Holdings LLC has quietly purchased several parcels along the Junction City waterfront, prompting speculation about a potential redevelopment project. The company, registered out of Indianapolis, has yet to release a statement about its intentions.

Residents in the River District expressed cautious optimism. “If they clean up the docks, that’s a win,” said café owner Brenda Pike. “But no one knows who’s actually behind it.”

County records list a “Lucien Graves” as the firm’s managing partner, though attempts to reach him for comment have been unsuccessful. Several documents filed with the purchase bore signatures that appear to be partially blacked out.
