Photographer’s Exhibit Postponed After Portfolio Theft

Local photographer Calvin Dresner has postponed his exhibit Nocturne: The City That Sleeps in Shadow after his portfolio went missing under unusual circumstances. The artist claims the negatives were stolen from his locked darkroom overnight.

Dresner is known for his moody black-and-white portraits of Junction City’s alleyways and rooftops. He told reporters he’d been “followed home more than once” in recent weeks.

Police believe the theft was likely motivated by value, but Dresner insists “someone didn’t want those images seen.” He declined to elaborate further.
