Harold James Benson, 74, lifelong resident of Junction City, passed away November 9th at his home. Born March 22, 1951, he retired from the Junction City Water Works after 40 years of service.
Hal enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and evening walks through the park with his dog, Baxter. Neighbors recall his stories about the “underground pipes that go on forever.”
A public graveside service will be held Monday at Riverside Memorial. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the City Parks Department’s memorial bench fund.
